Develop Fierce and Fearless Attitude
About Lesson

Throughout the course of our discussion thus far, most of the information and highlighted topics have centered on what changes must occur mentally to implement and maintain a fearless and fierce lifestyle. Your ability to tangibly think, live and react this way depends largely on mental discipline and toughness. However, there is still more to the equation than being headstrong.

Let’s reflect back on some of the examples of fearless and fierce we have described once again. You are familiar with the archetypes at this point, the dominant lion, the raging warrior, etc. None would disagree that the mindset within each of these characters needed to drive this type of behavior is undoubtedly of the fierce, fearless nature. You aren’t going to find much hesitation or timidness in either of these guys.

Taking this subject one step further, one must realize the physical ability that each of our examples must possess to carry out these violent actions on cue.

Would it do our lion or warrior friends much good if the mindset was one of ferocity and fearless instinct but their bodies were far from capable of mustering the strength or energy to sustain these pursuits? The answer is no.

The same is true for your daily life. In order to capitalize on achieving a mindset that is conducive to achievement and success, you better be sure that your physical body is up for the tasks as well.

What does this mean? First of all, making sure that you are physically fit is key. While our specific discussion topic is far from the only reason to stay in shape, as it literally improves every aspect of your life, maintaining and improving your physical abilities gives you an edge.

Furthermore, your ability to maintain a high level of energy and mental performance, when necessary, which will be very often in your pursuit of lofty goals, will only be possible if the things you fuel your body with and your quality of sleep is sufficient.

If you are going to be living the life of a high-performing, fearless, fierce, ridiculously motivated individual, how long do you think this is sustainable on a steady dose of poor nutrition, minimal hydration, and sleepless nights? You likely know the answer to this one already.

The point being made here is not that you need to live the life of a professional athlete in order to maximize your success is anything you desire. But, treating your body like trash is a great way to make sure you don’t succeed or reach your goals, or even achieve an average human lifespan for that matter.

As human beings, we are ridiculously complicated creations and the way in which we think, feel and act is the sum of so many interworking variables. Our minds are capable of incredible adaptations and abilities and that is why our discussion has focused primarily on the mental components needed to become fearless and fierce.

Given that we are so multi-faceted, the physical body we experience daily life in has to be able to carry out these powerful thoughts and decisions for any real change to take place.

The importance of fortifying your physical body cannot be understated. Living fearlessly and fiercely is not some mantra that applies to only selected areas of your life. You cannot simply choose to be mentally fierce while simultaneously content with a neglected, poor state of physical health and fitness.

The individual who truly embodies the lifestyle described in this discussion would never allow such a glaring chink in their armor to exist.

Always keep in mind that you, just like a chain, are only as strong as your weakest link. It makes very little difference how fierce and fearless you are in various aspects of your life if you knowingly allow yourself to neglect any of the other aspects.

Don’t sell yourself short by failing to seek personal growth, improvement, and success in only some facets of what makes you unique and remarkable.
