Develop Fierce and Fearless Attitude
About Lesson

Operating under the idea that, hopefully, you have certain things in your life that you are deeply passionate about. These are things in which you believe in your core and would set everything else aside to protect.

For most people this would be their personal belief systems, a career that they feel allows them to positively impact others, their families and people that depend on them, hobbies and pastimes that make them feel truly alive.

The reason that living fiercely is so inherently correlated to passion is that trying to be fierce for the sake of something you aren’t passionate about is next to impossible.

Let’s picture the idea of the lion and the warrior. Do you think the lion would exert a tremendous amount of injury and risk bodily harm while pursuing another animal if it weren’t pretty passionate about not starving to death?

Similarly, the sword wielding warrior fighting the enemy to the death would have a tough time doing so without a passionate reasoning for engaging in the first place.

In your own life, you must always protect and gravitate towards the things you are passionate about. You can be certain that the world is full of people who are more than willing to force you into compromising the things you fully believe in.

Whether to force you into conforming to the status quo or out of jealousy at the fact that they lack passion in their own lives, there are going to be those that pose a threat to your passions. In this context, living fiercely means that you refuse to stray from what you know to be right, the things that set your soul on fire. Being fierce means that you hold fast to your core values and beliefs.

You should seek to save yourself the disappointment from having to reflect on your life one day and realize that you compromised what you knew to be righteous and failed to chase the things you were passionate about.
