Develop Fierce and Fearless Attitude
About Lesson

Given that we have outlined a working definition of what it means to live a fierce life, it is time to delve into the other aspect of our title, fearlessness. Moving forward, we will break down what it means to be fearless from the perspective of a modern, daily life.

While some would consider being fierce and fearless to be synonymous, there are some key differences and important points to be made between the two.

Just as we began our dive into being fierce, let us first call to attention symbols that are often associated with fearlessness. Without pondering the question, what does being fearless look like to you?

Many people would say a person who entered a physical fight with an opponent twice their size, maybe even a group of individuals without an ounce of hesitation would be considered pretty fearless.

How about the singer who perfectly bellows out the national anthem live at the super bowl every year, no shakiness of voice whatsoever? Watching nature shows on television provides plenty of examples as well. Have you ever seen a wolverine bully a polar bear, the largest land predator on planet earth, out of a dead carcass despite being a literal fraction the size of the bear?

Unlike the mixed connotation that the word fierce seems to invoke, fearlessness is a trait that is not quite as polarizing. You probably will not find many individuals who would perceive being fearless as a detrimental or unfavorable aspect of human life. Ironically enough, you will also be hard pressed to find many people that actually live their lives in a fearless manner.

Much like the satisfaction with average and complacency that the majority of the population defaults to instead of being fierce, embodying fearlessness is not a natural tendency that everyone has within themselves.
