Manifesting 101
About Lesson

“Humans operate on three levels of reality; we think, feel, do. In order to manifest in the physical world, we must put the rocket fuel behind our thoughts (emotions) but must also take physical action to make it happen. That’s the missing key to the Law of Attraction .”

The Energy of Words: Use the Vibration of Language to Manifest the Life You Desire

Avoid Cynics and Negative People

One surefire way to sabotage your progress and interrupt your ability to manifest your goals is to listen to and indulge the cynics in your life. There will be people who say you can’t accomplish something by manifestation.

There will be people who do not believe in you, who doubt your abilities or your intentions. They will be people who will try to stand in your way and block your success. There will be people who say you should give up.

What you need to remember is that all these actions and words say more about the other person than they do about you. They tell you what this person is afraid of, the reality of their lives, and the mindset that is controlling your actions and choices.

When people are hurting, they like to ensure that others feel as badly as they do. They want to block your success, so they do not think so pessimistically about themselves.

Do not allow naysayers and negative people to block your energy, to influence your choices, or to derail your efforts. Remember that you are trying to put out positivity in the world, which means wishing them to heal and focusing on what is important to you.

It means being kind and generous but not allowing others to bring you down. It means focusing on creating your life rather than allowing others to tell you how to live it.

Start from Faith

Faith, whether religious or otherwise, is simply the belief in something intangible or that has not yet been shown to you.

And faith is unwavering and continual, even when things become unsure or pessimistic. Trust that it will work out and that you will soon realize your dream can keep you going during setbacks and after plateaus in your progress.

Faith helps you remain positive, keeps you focused on your outcome, and allows you to surrender to the world when things are out of your hands and beyond your control.

It is also what can help you overcome doubts because you know deep within you that good things are coming. You just have to be patient and keep doing the right thing.

Stop Worrying

In many ways, worrying is a kind of resistance that can become counterproductive to your manifestation process. When you indulge worry and anxiety, you allow yourself to consider the possibility of failure, to doubt yourself.

You are telling the universe that you believe something bad is going to happen, that you do not think you deserve or will achieve success. When this happens, you will get back the same energy you send out.

Worry is a way of visualizing adverse outcomes. You imagine all the things that might go wrong,
and worry influences all your thoughts and emotions. It even affects your body.

That means you’re sending these negative messages out and makes you focus on what is wrong or could go wrong. You are more likely to see problems than possibilities, which can lead to the issues becoming a reality.

Just because things are not going exactly as you planned does not mean that things will not eventually work out.

Trusting the process, having faith in your eventual success, and believing in yourself and your efforts can help you squash worries and relieve yourself of negative thinking.

Above all else, stay focused on the positive things you are trying to accomplish, which will be the most considerable force toward manifesting what you need.

Build Your Self-Confidence

Believing in yourself and your abilities to realize your dreams is a crucial part of manifestation. It is part of that belief system that informs everything else and one of the three pillars of this process.

When you are struggling with self-worth, try creating an image of a successful you. Visualize yourself as happy and content. Imagine the“you” who has accomplished your goal.

Actively explore this version of yourself in your mind and know that this version of you exists and is inside of you right now. Remind yourself often of your capabilities and accomplishments.

Acknowledge that you are worthy of the things you seek. When you begin to doubt, return to these exercises again and again until you start to believe in yourself genuinely.

“It’s only after you’ve found what you want inside of you that you can find it outside of you.”Cory Groshek, Breaking Away

Act Confident to Become Confident

When you are first learning to change your beliefs, especially those that you have about yourself, it may be tough at first. You have not laid the foundation, and you will likely find yourself reverting to old thought patterns and self-talk routines. During this time, you can use this strategy to help you develop more confidence. Start by acting “as if” you are worthy, “as if” you are confident and trusting of the process.

The more you act “as if” something is real, the more your subconscious will start to believe it is true, and the more it will positively influence your choices and actions. The more you act in a certain way, the more you will believe that you are that way, and the sooner you will start responding naturally as though you are this person you are pretending to be.

Pretending or faking it is a common strategy that we all employ from time to time to help us learn something new or to fit into a unique situation, so why not use it to help you gain confidence and believe in yourself? The stronger your beliefs that you are doing well and on the path to success, the more you will actually be doing those things.

Meditate Regularly

Meditation is a crucial practice that can help you to focus, visualize, and attract the things you most want in life. Meditation is a practice of learning to focus your mind on one thing while pushing aside or ignoring competing thoughts, distractions, and negative influences.

When you practice it regularly, at least once per day, meditation actually rewires your brain and makes you think differently and changes your ability to pay attention and notice.

By becoming more aware of the thoughts that could be derailing your progress and those negative feelings you are projecting into the world, you can adjust and change to improve your manifestation efforts.

Awareness is the first step toward transformation, and meditation is the perfect way to teach yourself to be more aware of yourself, your thoughts, your actions, and your feelings.

Read Your Action Plan Often

During the how-to section earlier, we discussed the importance of creating an action plan. Just as you must regularly repeat what it is you are seeking from the world, you must also continually review your action plan.

The more you consider your plan, the more you embody what it is you are trying to become, and the more ownership you have over not only the effort but also the outcome. Reviewing your plan can help you visualize yourself completing each step, imagining the results of your hard work, and putting positive energy toward the steps that need to be taken to realize what you want.

Listen to Your Instincts

Your intuition or instincts include your ability to know or understand something at once, without much conscious thought or reasoning. Your instincts direct your attention and focus and tell you deep down what you need to hear before you have much time even to process what is happening.

In practice, your instincts are a manifestation of your values and beliefs. Those things you believe in your core that are most precious to you will trigger your intuition long before your rational mind has a chance to catch up.

When you have clarity about your values and beliefs, and when these are aligned with the goals you have in your life, then your intuition becomes an excellent guide for you. Your instincts can become a barometer to let you know if you are making the best choices or if you are allowing other people or priorities to lead you astray.

However, if your current values are shifting or if one of your goals is to change some fundamental beliefs you have, then your instincts may not be guiding you in the right direction.

However, intuition, in this case, can tell you where changes need to be made or where inconsistencies exist that you need to reconcile. Either way, listening to your gut is meaningful and can tell you a lot about yourself and your choices.

Practice Visualization

There is a funny thing you may not know about your subconscious. Whether it is real or not, if you create a mental picture of something, your brain believes it to be true. When you plant new

ideas into your mind using visualization techniques and repeatedly show these images, your subconscious believes these to be your reality.

It will then work hard to continue to create the conditions to make this reality stay constant.

This is why visualization works so well. You can plant new realities into your mind, and when you continue to practice the technique, it will start to influence your emotions, thoughts, and actions over time.

Create a mental picture, not just of what you want, but also of the person you will be when you achieve it. How will you feel? What will be different about you and your life? The more you visualize this, the more likely it is to become a reality.

Avis J. Williams

Send Out What You Want to Receive

When you are practicing manifestation, it is helpful to imagine the world around you as an echo chamber. Whatever you send out into the world, through your voice, actions, or emotions, comes back to you from many sources.

If you wish to find love, you must send out this feeling to receive it back. If you want to see abundance in your own life, spend time helping others find it in theirs. Give out what you seek to get back.

It is helpful to remember that the energy you send out may come back to you from unexpected sources or through a delayed response. For example, helping one specific person does not mean that you will receive help back from that same person.

Instead, someone different may assist you some time from now. The point is not that you receive back the same action but that you get back the same energy and intention from the universe. Try it today. Send out a message of hope, peace, love, or whatever else you are trying to bring into your world and notice what starts happening very soon.

Work on Acceptance

Accepting that manifestation works, that you can create your own reality, and that you are in charge of your future are perhaps some of the most challenging things for some people to accept.

When you have believed for a long time that “life” is getting in the way of your dreams or thatyou are not meant to have everything you want, accepting the power of manifestation can be incredibly difficult. Learning to accept that your fate is already in your own hands and that you have been manifesting your life all along is a crucial step in your journey. Fully accepting your choices and how they affect your life is also critical.

Working toward accepting these truths will need to start early and continue throughout your manifesting work if you are to embrace its principles truly.

Focus on Your Needs, Not Others’

To manifest what you most desire and need in life, it is critical that you focus only on what you want and ignore what others tell you to wish or think you should want for your life. Living your life for others will not result in happiness or contentment for you, and you must push aside their goals and agendas in favor of your own.

When you start to find yourself listening to others or giving in to what they think is best for you, ask yourself if they are the ones that must live with those consequences. Ultimately, it is your happiness alone that matters, not what anyone else thinks or wants for you.

Focus on Humility and Gratitude

Every day brings you blessings, gifts, and opportunities. Focus your energy on acknowledging these, being grateful for them, and remembering that, without your continued positive energy, these possibilities may not return to your life. Be thankful to yourself for your hard work and enthusiasm. Be grateful for the setbacks that teach you valuable lessons.

For the naysayers who strengthen your resolve, say, “thank you.” Be humble about your progress and your origins. Send out thankfulness and humility, and you will receive abundance in return.

Realize All that You Have Already Manifested, And Build from There

When you start to become conscious of your ability to manifest your life, it can be helpful to take stock of all the ways you have already, perhaps unintentionally, created your current existence. What thoughts, beliefs, and energy have you sent out into the world already to create your current reality? What choices have led you to where you are right now?

Once you take stock of all the ways you have already manifested things in your life, you can start to see your real power.

And once you become a conscious creator of your future, you can learn how to harness that power for good and to make better things happen for you in the future.

Support Your Dreams

Sometimes it can feel like the world has completely forgotten all about you and your dreams. And sometimes, it is you who has given up on what matters most to you.

When you withdraw from what matters most and push aside your own dreams, you create a reality that ignores your desires and makes you feel left out and set aside.

Instead of ignoring what you want, start supporting your dreams in every way imaginable. Believe in yourself, think positive thoughts about your possible outcomes, put yourself in the path of opportunities, and support your goals in every way you possibly can. The more you believe in yourself, the more the universe will deliver.

Be Crystal Clear in How You Direct Your Energy

For manifestation to be as powerful and effortless as possible, you must be very clear about what it is you want and focus as much as you possibly can on that singular goal. The more concentrated your energy and the purer your intentions, the more likely your efforts are to yield a positive reward sooner.

When you push aside all your other thoughts, worries, doubts, and fears and focus solely on this one thing, nothing can stop you from manifesting what you most want in this world.

What to Do When Your Dream is Close but Remains Out of Reach

It sometimes happens that people get excited about the prospect of manifestation, they start to do the necessary work, they see some progress, but then it seems like nothing really happens. Or you stop making progress and enter a state of limbo.

What could be holding you back?

And how do I know if my dreams are just about to come true?

First, let’s look for some signs that your efforts are paying off, which means the realization of your goal is perhaps just around the corner.

For example, listen to your instincts, as they have some powerful insight. Do you feel a sense of excitement that is not easily explained? When you start to notice anticipation or excitement without a concrete reason in your life, that is a sign that what you most desire is close.

When you notice other signs from the universe that correlate to your dream, pay attention. When you overhear others talking about what you want, when you see images that depict your vision, when you are offered signals that reaffirm your goal, this is the universe telling you to be patient. Wait just a little longer, and good things are coming.

Similarly, when you hear other people talking about their goals, how they are working toward achieving them, or success stories related to their accomplishments, this is a good sign. It means the universe is hearing your positive energy and is sending back positive messages to you.

Unexpected opportunities that appear in your life can be another sign that the universe is working to make things happen for you. Have you been offered something new, has someone suggested that you try something? Look for opportunities in all aspects of your life, even those that you may least expect to result in something life changing.

When good things are close, it is essential to wait, have patience and faith, and believe in your ability to create your reality. Sometimes, you must wait for good reasons, so just know that you are doing all the right things that someday soon you will enjoy the fruits of your labors.

“The universe is not outside of you. Look inside yourself; everything that you want, you already are.” ~ Rumi

Final Thoughts

Manifestation is your ability to take control of your life and realize your greatest desires. By focusing your energy, transforming your thoughts and perspectives, and attracting good things into the world, you can accomplish your goals and attain any dream you have in life.

By leveraging the law of attraction, acknowledging the effects of your various choices, and reconciling the limiting factors that may be holding you back, you can learn to use your thoughts to create your reality.

Through careful control of your emotions and be letting go of resistance to the forces of the universe, you can become a powerful channel for more considerable energies that help you realize your dreams.

Stay well and go get all you want from life!
